PIAZZA, Bridget Patricia (nee Hanrahan)– To mark the life of Bridget Patricia Piazza (nee Hanrahan) who left us on March 25, 2011 at Framingham, MA, USA. Born in Little Bay, Marystown in 1919, she was the daughter of Richard and Angela (nee Manning) of Oderin. Bride was predeceased by her son, Thomas Maddox, her husband Charlie Piazza, sisters, Lucy Nugent (Bernard), Betty Bruce (Michael), Monica Cheeseman (Arthur), and brothers Vincent, John, and Patrick. Bride is survived by her daughter-in-law, Noreen Maddox, granddaughters Kathleen and Erin, and their families, all in the USA. She also is remembered by her sisters-in-law, Jean, Peg, and Bernadette, an extended family of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends, in Newfoundland, other provinces of Canada, and the U.S.A. Though she made a life in the Boston area, as long as her health permitted, she was a frequent visitor to Newfoundland, never forgetting her family, or her roots. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass to celebrate her life on April 12, 2011 at 7 p.m. at St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church on Newfoundland Drive, St. John’s.
