The death occurred at the Summerset Manor, Summerside, on Saturday, April 9, 2011, of Rena Dalton of Summerside, aged 94 years. Born in Baltic, Lot 18, she was the daughter of the late John and Mabel “Bessie” (Woodside) MacGillivary. Survived by her son John Dalton, Baltic; and brothers and sisters-in-law: Gerard (Sonia), Summerside; Edward, Renfrew, Ont.; Mrs. Barbara Cronin, Columbus, OH; Mrs. Helen MacDonald, Charlottetown; Mrs. Ruth Murphy, Charlottetown; D. Greg (Sharon), Billingham, WA; and George (Estelle), Summerside. Predeceased by her husband Dr. Ormond Dalton; brother William MacGillivary; and by her sister Grace Ramsay. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held Wednesday, at 10 a.m. Interment to take place later in St. Paul's Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Prince County Hospital Foundation or the Summerset Manor Equipment Fund would be appreciated.
