Robert Lawrence “Robbie” Palmeter – 56, of Dayspring, Lunenburg County, formerly of Medford, Kings County, passed away Friday, May 26, 2017 in Riverview Enhanced Living, Dayspring. Born in Kentville, he was the only son of the late R. Elliott and Katherine (MacKeen) Palmeter. Robbie lived at home with his parents in Medford until he was 21 years of age. He then moved to LaHave Manor (now Riverview Enhanced Living) in Dayspring where he became one of their family. Robbie was known as a “ray of sunshine”. He is survived by four sisters, Andrea Rogers, Wanda George (Bill MacKeen), Sharon (Roy) Lynk, and Jeanne Allen, all of Medford; nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation, by request. A private graveside service will be held at a later date in the Habitant Cemetery, Kings County. Donations in memory may be made to Riverview Enhanced Living, Dayspring.
