We regret to announce the passing of Theresa Marie Tomko on Sunday, June 4, 2017, at the Cove Guest Home, Sydney.
Born November 7, 1926, Tess was the daughter of the late James and Bertha (MacNeil) Cook.
Tess is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Rudolph “Jake”; sisters, Louise and Dorothy “Dottie”; brother, Gerald “Red”.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Roy.
Tess loved cooking, gardening and being by the beach. She was loved by her family, including many nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to the staff of the Cove Guest Home who gave great care for many years. At her request there will be no visitation or service. Interment will be held at a later date.
