We, the family, regret to announce the passing of Allan, 51, on Sunday, June 4, 2017 in the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
Born in Sydney he was the son of Brenda Burns and the late David Burns.
Allan is survived by his daughter, Hannah; sister, Sheri (Ellsworth); nephew, Mitchell (Mary); niece, Jesse; uncles, Don Burns and Doug (MacLeod (Kay); cousins, Laura Burns, Bruce ( Shelley) and Chris MacLeod.
A special thank you to Val Kennedy for being so caring and thoughtful while he was in the hospital.
Cremation has taken place and there will be a private family service at a later date.
