It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dearly beloved, James Joseph King Sr., who passed away on June 4, 2017 at the age of 63. Predeceased by his parents James and Hannah King and his beloved son James King Jr. Left to mourn with a broken heart, his wife of 41 years, Winnie King (nee Kennedy); his sons Jason (Germaine), Jonathan (Chrystal) and Justin (Jess), whom he was so proud of; Poppy's four special little buddies, Nicholas, Joshua, Jacob and Jason; his brothers Eddie and Kevin (Mary Anne); his sisters Mary (Paddy), Anna (Karl), Brenda (Richie), Elizabeth (Edward) and Rose (Dennis); brothers-in-law Jim (Boo), Gord (Anne), Lar (Bernadette); sisters-in-law Helen (Jimmy), Phyllis (Mike), Noreen (George), Bernice (Albert); also a very special little girl to his heart La Kesha Marie; his best friends Tommy Boland, Shawn and Cook Boland; a very large family of nieces, nephews and cousins; along with his uncle Ches (Daisy); aunt Alice Mayo; and his gravel pit friends. A special heartfelt thanks to his fishing buddies Chris Mullett and Nick Stack along with the nurses who were by his side at the time of his passing. Special thanks to Dr. Darcy, Dr. Eleanor Powel and their teams. Also the staff at the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Centre and Chemotherapy Unit. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Thursday from 10 am - 9 pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Friday at 9:30a.m. from St. John Bosco Church on Friday, June 9, 2017. Cremation will follow. Flowers gratefully appreciated or a donation in Jimmy's memory to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre.
