It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Frank "Doc" Docherty, retired postal worker, aged 64 years. Predeceased by parents Robert and Gladys (nee Snelgrove) Docherty, and sister Joanne Docherty (2016). Leaving to mourn sister Madeline O'Keefe (Robert), nieces and nephews, as well as good friends. Special thank you to the doctors, nurses, and staff at the Miller Centre for your support and comfort to Robert. Also, special thanks to the good friends who supported him by providing transportation, and bringing him home cooked meals during his lengthy battle with cancer. Cremation has taken place. A committal service will take place on Monday, June 12th,2017 at 3 p.m in the General Protestant Cemetery. Family and friends are welcome to attend.
