Judith Margaret Abbott (nee Dawe)

Passed peacefully away on Saturday, June 10, 2017, wrapped in the arms of her loving daughters and surrounded by family, friends and the voice of "Elvis". Our Mom left this world to rejoin her loving husband, and our Dad, Peter (July, 2016). She is also predeceased by her parents Margaret and George Dawe and Caroline Layman; sister Nancy Stack and brother Harold Dawe (Ruth). Judy leaves to mourn, two daughters Krista Joy (Paul) and Jillian Abbott-Dalley (Steve); five grandchildren Hudson and Cameron Joy and Hunter, Lauren and Emma Dalley; her brothers and sisters Ernie Layman (Claire), Wayne Layman (Geraldine), Wally Layman (Linda), Barb Nolan (Mike), Nina Gray (John), Donna King and Doug King; her father Doug King Sr. and two precious fur-babies Bella and P.J. Judy also leaves behind a large circle of family and friends including special friends Ron Noftall, Sandy Martin (Rick), Carol O'Reilly (John), Jodi Stanley, Barb Coughlan, Joanne Hipditch, Jack Constantine, Freddie Stack, Yvonne Parsley, Ern Layman and Fr. Wayne Dohey, as well as her Card and Dart Club and special family members from the Abbott family and mother-in-law Alice Abbott, as well as all her nieces and nephews, especially John, Jim, Nakita, Brooke and Michael. We would like to extend special thanks to the Nephrology Team; staff of 5SA at the Health Sciences Centre; Dr. Corey Adams and to the Dialysis Team who gave her a drive to fight! Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Monday from 6-9 pm and on Tuesday from 12-2 pm and 5-9 pm. Funeral Mass will take place at a 9:30 am on Wednesday, June 14th, 2017 from St. Patrick's Church with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully accepted or donation's in Judy's memory may be made to the Newfoundland and Labrador Kidney Foundation.
