The death occurred, at the Prince County Hospital, on Sunday, June 11, 2017, of Frances “Fran” Bernard, of Summerside, aged 90 years. Born in Summerside, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Virginia (Gallant) Arsenault. Survived by her sister Shirley Arsenault; sister-in-law Marion Arsenault; brother-in-law Gerry Martin and by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Joseph “Syl” Bernard; brothers Wilfred (Beatrice) Arsenault, Gilbert Arsenault and sisters Hazel (Alex) Murphy and Mary Martin. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Wednesday, then to the St. Paul’s Church, Summerside, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Summerside.
