Our dear wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Ruth, passed away June 10, 2017 at the age of 92. Ruth was born July 9, 1924 on the farm southwest of Truax. She was the youngest child of Joseph and Josephine Schuett and the last surviving member of her family. Ruth will be remembered for her kind welcoming heart, cooking and baking expertise, her love of gardening and her unwavering faith and strength. Ruth will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband, Norman “Alec” of 65 years; sons Ken (Gloria), Wayne (Darlene), Keith (Laurie) and Brian (Adrienne); grandchildren Dennis, Brianne, Mitchell, Kurt, Shaun and Blaine; great grandchildren Brayden & Macy as well as many nieces and nephews. Ruth is predeceased by her parents; brothers Clayton and Cliff and her sister Loretta. A Celebration of Ruth’s Life will be held at the Jones Chapel, 106 Athabasca St. E., on Friday June 16, 2017 at 11:00AM. Father Rick Krofeck will be the presiding Celebrant. Interment to follow at Rosedale Cemetery. Memorial donations may be directed to St. Joseph’s CWL, 1064 Third Ave. NW, Moose Jaw, S6H 3T9 or STARS, 2640 Airport Rd, Regina, S4W 1A6.
