It is with great sadness that the family of Margaret Geraldine Williams (nee Bugden) announce her passing on Friday, June 16, 2017 in St. John's at the age of 74 years, surrounded by her family. Born in Norris Point on May 3, 1943, Geraldine was the youngest daughter of the late Harry Martin and Margaret (nee Genge) Bugden. She was predeceased by father, 1972; mother, 2004 and brothers Fred, 2004 and Martin, 2005. Leaving to mourn with many precious memories are her husband of nearly 50 years, Reg Williams; her son Craig Bugden and daughter Trudi Meade (Jim); special grandchildren Emily and William Meade; her brothers and sisters Betty (Reg) Grandy, Millie (Clyde) Earles, Claude (Claire) Bugden and Gerald (Vivian) Bugden; a large circle of nieces and nephews and many, many friends. Visitation on Sunday, June 18 and Monday, June 19 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road. A memorial service will take place at the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, June 20 at 11 a.m. officiated by the Venerable John Meade, followed by interment at the Anglican Cemetery in Norris Point on Saturday, June 24 at 2 p.m. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Nanny G's memory may be made to Church of the Good Shepherd, Norris Point, NL.
