Albert Maxwell (Max) Blackmore

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Albert Maxwell (Max) Blackmore, beloved husband and father, at the age of 82 years after a brief battle with cancer. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Juanita, his son Michael and daughter Jill. Predeceased by his father and mother Max and Olive Blackmore. Also leaving to mourn his sisters Stella Mifflin and Joan Blackmore; his brother Harold (Ivy); sisters-in-law: Marcia Brett (Peter), Elvina Stryde (Harry), Judi MacPhee (Roger); as well as many nieces and nephews, close friends Grace and John Crewe and many other dear friends. Thank you to our friends and neighbours at Greycliffe Condominium for their kind support. A heart felt thank you to the staff of the Cancer Clinic and the Palliative Care Unit at the L.A Miller Centre. A special thank you to Dr. Lisa Barnes and Community Health Nurse Valerie Maher. Cremation has taken place. The family will be receiving visitors and friends at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Tuesday, June 20th and Wednesday, June 21st from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, June 22nd, 2017 at 2 p.m. from St. Michael and All Angels Church, 75 Kiwanis Street. Interment to follow in the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road. In lieu of flowers, donations in Max's memory may be made to St. Michael and all Angels Building Fund or a charity of one's choice.
