WHEELER, Mildred - With saddened hearts we announce the passing of Miss (Helen) Mildred Wheeler at St. Joseph's Continuing Care Centre, Palliative Care on Friday, June 16, 2017. Born on September 3rd, 1921 to (Patrick) Joseph Wheeler and Angela (née Fraser) Wheeler in St. Andrew's West. Devoted and beloved sister of Charles Joseph Wheeler (Lucie) of Calgary, Alberta. Cherished aunt and Godmother to Joseph T. Wheeler (Janie), whom she lived with in St. Andrew's West. Gentle and wise Grand-aunt to Leigh J.A. Wheeler (Dawn) and their daughter Elodie. Andrew J. G. Wheeler (Brie) and their children Maevy and Shea of Cornwall. Patrick J. T. Wheeler (Janine) of Ottawa. Loving aunt to Margaret Darling of Ingleside, Hilda Benton (Neil) of Monkland, Mark (Jean) of Winchester, Katherine Mayeron (Victor) of Sanibel Island Florida. Carol Chung (Wilfred) of Ottawa, Sean Wheeler (Sandra) of Canmore, Alberta, Paul Wheeler (Debbie) of St. Andrew's West, Marion Woods (Scott) of Toronto, Michael Wheeler (Janet) of St. Andrew's West, Dr. Anne Marie Wheeler of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Patrick Joseph Wheeler and Helen Love (Kevin) both of Vancouver, B.C. Grand aunt to numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her cherished sisters Teresa Wheeler R.N. and Sister Margaret Wheeler (Sister Mary Charles, St. Joseph's Convent of Mount St. Joseph, Peterborough, Ontario). Also predeceased by beloved and devoted brother Willis Patrick Wheeler, Hugh Mark Wheeler, and John Garrett Wheeler (Alice). Resting at WILSON FUNERAL HOME , 822 Pitt St., Cornwall, where visitation will take place Monday, June 19, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM, and again on Tuesday from 9-10:15 AM. Mass of the Resurrection and Commendation with Farewell will be celebrated in St. Andrew's Roman Catholic Church, St. Andrew's West, Ontario on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at 11:00AM. Rite of Committal to follow in the St. Andrew's Parish Cemetery. If so desired, donations to St. Joseph's Continuing Care Centre - Palliative Care, Scarboro Foreign Missions, or St. Andrew's Church Restoration Fund would be appreciated by the family.
