Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's on Saturday, June 24, 2017, Cassie Humby of Summerville, aged 81 years. Predeceased by husband Willis; brother Edward. Left with fond and loving memories her children Beverley Dunn (Edward), Calgary, AB, Karen Humby (Gerald Clarke), St. Phillips, Rick Humby (Laurie), Torbay and Wendy McPherson (Chris), Shelburne, ON; grandchildren Joshua Roberts, Leandra Dunn, Stefany Roberts, Amber McPherson and Kaitie Humby; great-grandchildren Charlye Baker, Carter Cote, Catherine Cote and Braxton Humby; sister Monnie Burt, Peterview, Judy Mews (Eric), Lewisporte and Venus Sampson (Eric), Peterview; brother Rex Burt (Rose), Botwood; and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Fewer's Funeral Home, Clarenville on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 from 2 - 9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Fewer's Memorial Chapel, Clarenville with interment at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Lethbridge.
