Passed at Atlantic Baptist Nursing Home on Friday, February 24, 2017 of Phyllis Washington of Charlottetown, age 80 years. Beloved wife of the late William Washington, loving mother of Brad (Coralee Lane), Lois Wooldridge (Larry), Rob (Pam) and Billy (Tracy); step-mother of Jill and Jack (Debbie). Phyllis will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren - Brytnie, John, Logan, Thomas, Victoria, Justin, Elora, Jeffery, Dustin, William, Emma and great grandchild - Hudson; sister - Florence Griffin (Billie) and brother-in-law - Ed Washington (Jeanne). She was predeceased by her parents - Louis and Winnie (nee Hughes) Grimes, brother - Gerard Grimes and parents-in-law - Frank and May Washington. Funeral Mass will be celebrated, Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at St. Pius X Church, Charlottetown at 2 p.m. Interment will take place at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fort Augustus.
