It is with great sadness that the family of the late Joseph Park announce his passing at the Health Science Centre, St. John's NL on Monday, July 3, 2017 at the age of 78 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 55 years, Helen; daughter Joanne Brake (Darrell) Cookstown ON; son Ernest (Laura) Gillams NL; grandchildren Jennifer and Quentin Brake; Emily and Alexander Chisholm; Amy Park; brothers Edward (Sadie) Fredericton NB; Roland Corner Brook NL; Kevin (Maureen) Kitchener ON; son-in-law Gord Chisholm and a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his daughter Alison Chisholm February 18, 2017; parents Isaac and Melinda Park; parents-in-law Lida and Augustus Gillam; brothers; Eli, Edgar and Terry; sister; Joan. Visitation will be held from St. James Anglican Church Gillams, Thursday, July 6 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Joint Funeral/Celebration of Life for Joe and his daughter Alison will be held from St. James Anglican Church Friday, July 7, 2017 at 2pm with Rev. Malcolm Palmer officiating. Interment will be held at a later date. As expression of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations can be made to the St. James Anglican Church Fund Gillams, NL.
