It is with great sadness that the family of the late Nita MacDonald announces her passing at Captain William Jackman Memorial Hospital on Saturday, February 26, 2011, at the age of 54, following a courageous battle with cancer. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are husband Jim; daughter Jennifer (Steven Byrne), and her precious little granddaughter Alyssa, who kept her going strong for the last 11 months. She will be dearly missed by her sisters and brothers: MaDonna (Elmo Roberts); Lucy (Barry Fry) Bartlett; Ida (John Parsons); Joseph (Sandra) Bartlett; Edward (Wilma) Bartlett; Frances (Linda) Bartlett; Patrick Bartlett; predeceased by Isabelle, Gilbert and Ronald Bartlett and by mother & father Carmel & Frederick Bartlett. Also leaving to mourn a large number of nieces and nephews, family and friends. Nita was resting at Penney’s Funeral Home, and was laid to rest on Tuesday, March 2, 2011 at 11 a.m. Celebrant: Father Jarek Pachocki-OMI.
