AGNES LANGLEY

It is with deep sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Agnes (Wrathall) Langley on Friday, July 7, 2017, at the Cove Guest Home, Sydney.
Born June 4, 1924, in North Middleboro, Cumberland Co., she was the daughter of the late Walter and Margaret (Moore) Wrathall.
Throughout her life, Agnes was very active in her community. She was the “neighbourhood mom”, who was famous for her cookies.
Agnes is survived by her sons, Kenneth and Donald (Raylene), Sydney and grandson, Adam. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family.
She was predeceased by her husband, John. The last surviving member of her immediate family, Agnes was predeceased by her siblings, Stephen, Sarah and Esther.
We would like to extend a sincere thank you to everyone at the Cove Guest Home for their care and compassion.
Visitation will take place at Sydney Memorial Chapel on Sunday, July 9, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday 2 p.m., with Rev. Thomas Whent officiating. Interment in Alfred Smith Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
