Suddenly at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, the passing of John Yeo of Montague age 84, devoted husband of 49 years to Ruth Yeo (nee MacCallum) occurred on Friday, July 7, 2017. Born in Souris, P.E., on November 5, 1932, he was the son of the late Bruce and Lela (Dixon) Yeo. John is survived by his loving children Jayne Yeo (Shawn) and Jason Yeo (Carolyn); sisters Ruth Frederick, Anne Carroll and several brothers and sisters-in-law; cherished grandchildren Jill, Jack, Peter, Sally, Juliet and Alice; several cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Arlene Martin and Hazel MacLaren (Blair); brothers-in-law Ray Frederick and Dick Carroll. Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with visiting on Sunday, July 9, 2017 from 4 to 7 pm. Funeral Service on Monday, July 10, at Hillcrest United Church at 2 pm.
