Passed in: Port Hastings, Nova Scotia, Canada
Passed on: April 11th, 2011

Victor passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Monday, April 11, 2011 in Strait Richmond Hospital, Evanston after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Montreal, he was a son of Annie (Pie) Snow and the late Kenneth Snow.
Victor, fondly know as Vic, grew up in Sydney Mines and moved to Port Hawkesbury in 1972, where he met his wife of 36 years Judy. Vic was a retired employee of Sobeys working as a meat cutter for many years. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and trapping. He was a practical jokester and will be remembered fondly for his sense of humor and laughter. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need and received the Pineapple Award in 2004 from Tourism Canada for being an outstanding citizen in the community (nominated by Peter and Linda Peterson of New Hampshire). Vic’s door was always open and the cards were never far away. His family was never far from his mind. His pride and joy was his grandson Dylan who he loved to spend time with.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Judy (King); son, Kenneth (Michelle Richard), Whiteside; daughter, Catherine, Fort McMurray; grandson, Dylan Michael, Whiteside; mother, Annie, Sydney Mines; special nephew, Michael King, Port Hawkesbury and Godchild, Sidney King, Duffs Hill; brother, Leonard (Susan), Sackville; sisters, Irene (Roddy) McGilvery, Moncton, NB; Isaline (Owen) Deveaux, Alder Point; Darlene (Gordie) Fry , Lac La Biche, AB; Hannah (Mitch) Leblanc, Cayman Islands; Jean (Kenny) Mcguigan, Balls Creek; sister-in-law, Bernadette Snow, Boularderie; mother-in-law, Annie King, Port Hawkesbury and many nieces and nephews; in-laws and an abundance of friends.
