The death occurred peacefully, with family by his side, at The Garden Home, Charlottetown, on Tuesday, July 11, 2017, of Lawrence “Larry” Doiron, beloved husband of Marie Doiron (Doucette), formerly of Rustico, age 88. Lawrence was the loving father of Bob (Eve), David (Ann Marie), Donna Hayball (Randy), Kay Doiron (Don Nattenay), John (Lydia) and Janet Maddix (John); grandfather of Lee Anne, Jason, Sara, Marcia, Jenell, Logan, Gavin and Cody; and great-grandfather of Ryker and Ethan. He is also survived by his brothers, Dennis (Kathleen) and Melvin (Anita); sisters, Louise Clarkin (John), Vivian Gauthier (Sonny); sister-in-law, Ella Mae Doiron; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Lawrence was predeceased by his son David, and son in infancy; his parents, John and Rose (Peters) Doiron; his parents-in-law, Cornelius and Katherine (Doucette) Doucette; brothers Ivan and Victor Doiron; and sister, Marie Gallant (Arthur). Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, 2538, Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, for visitation on Friday, July 14, 2017, from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Augustine’s Roman Catholic Church, Rustico, on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. Interment in St. Augustine’s Cemetery.
