MacBurnie, Judylee Frances – Age 54, Central Onslow, passed away peacefully with family by her side, on July 14, 2017, in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro.
Born in Truro, she was a daughter of David Stewart and the late Jean (Powers) Stewart.
Judy was a dedicated sister, mother, grandmother, and partner, who always put others ahead of herself. Affectionately known as “the apple lady”, everyone knew of her contagious laugh that didn’t end until she had everyone in tears.
She will always be loved and remembered by partner, Wayne McKenna; daughter, Vanessa; son, Nathaniel (Caitlyn); their father, Daniel MacBurnie; grandson, Dax MacBurnie; brothers, Donald Stewart, Craig (Kathy) Stewart, Derek (Tammy) Stewart, Shaune (Julie) Stewart; nephews and nieces, Kody and Lauren Stewart; Riley and Paige Stewart.
Visitation will be Monday, 6 -8 p.m., and funeral service will be Tuesday, at 2 p.m., both in Country Calvary Baptist Church, Milford, Pastor Morris Mills officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Stewiacke East.
Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association.
