Peacefully, with family by her side, the passing of Bertha Maud Crane, age 98, devoted wife of the late Robert (Lee) Crane Sr., occurred on Friday, July 14, 2017, at the Nakile Home for Special Care, in Glenwood, NS. Born in Albion, PE, on April 12, 1919, she was the daughter of the late William D. and Essie M. (Creed) Llewellyn. Bertha is survived by her children Joyce Crane, Joan McCreight, Robert (Ruth) Crane, Dorothy (Clifford) Vail, Shirley MacDonald and Kenny (Donna) Crane; nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Areta Jenkins, Lois Crane; brother Lloyd Llewellyn; sons-in-law Morris McCreight and Gordon MacDonald. Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with visiting on Friday, July 21, 2017 from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service to be held on Saturday, July 22 at 10 a.m., from the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to take place in the Christ Church Cherry Valley Cemetery.
