Passed peacefully away, surrounded by his family and friends at Palliative Care Unit, Miller Centre, St. John's, NL after a short battle with cancer. Predeceased by his darling infant son Garrett in 1997 and his sister Arleen Goss in 2002. Left to celebrate his life are his mother and father Al and Laura Goss; sisters Lynn (Gerry Wade) and Geralyn (Howie Hansford); brother Glenn (Peg); nieces Erika Hansford (Rene Ritter), Samantha Hansford (Chris Vettorazzo), Allison Wade (Mike Wahl); nephews Zach Wade and Ben Goss (Krysta Tobin) all of St. John's and Mt. Pearl. He also leaves many cousins, his many old school friends from St. John's, NL as well his wide circle of friends (including Garrett's mother Dawn Marion) in Windsor, ON and elsewhere who stayed in touch with him during his illness through their daily text and email messages. The family wishes to acknowledge the wonderful professionals at Windsor Regional Hospital - Ouellette Campus, Windsor, ON and those at Eastern Health - HSC Emergency, H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre, HSC- 4NB, and Miller Centre- Palliative Care. Your kindness and compassion will never be forgotten. While we are heartbroken, Kenny has taught us much about dying with humour and dignity. We will be forever grateful for that. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors at Caul's Funeral Home, 84 LeMarchant Road, St. John's, NL on Friday, July 21 from 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2017, from Mary Queen of Peace Church, Torbay Road at 10 a.m. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
