Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family at the Health Sciences Center on Sunday, July 16, 2017 at the age of 60 years. Predeceased by his parents: Stuart and Jessie Toope; in-laws: Stanley and Elizabeth Maynard; sister: Phyllis Toope; sister -in-law: Paulette Maynard and brothers-in-law: Ray Christopher, Victor (Catherine) Maynard and Jim Major. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 36 years Della (nee Maynard); his children Jeffery (Nakita) and Kimberley; the loves of his life grandchildren Ashton and Brooklynn; sisters: Karen Christopher of Ontario, Berdina (Ray) Ford of Bonavista and Dianne Toope of Mt. Pearl; brothers: Wayne (Teresa) of Dunfield T.B., Keith (Karen) of Calgary and Ernest (Diane) of Mt. Pearl; sisters-in-laws: Mercedes (Harry) Maynard of Norris Point and Lorretta Major of Corner Brook; brothers-in-law: Fred (Helen) Maynard of Corner Brook, Gordon (Sandra) Maynard of Fort MacMurray and Todd Reid of Norris Point, and a large circle of extended family and friends. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. from Church of the Ascension, Smallwood Drive. Interment to follow at a later date in Port Rexton.
