It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Alonzo Samuel House, "Lonnie", 62, of Daniel's Harbour, who died suddenly on Sunday July 16th, 2017. Alonzo was born in Daniel's Harbour, Newfoundland to Ula and Harvey House on October 28, 1954. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Bridget; children Della (Keith), Draper (Krista), and Nicholas (Erin); siblings Harvey Junior (Bernice), Darrel (Wanda), Dwight (Joan), Sharlene (Wayne), Valerie (Jim), and Melda (Paul); grandchildren Randy, Nathan and Katherine; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and many close friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Ula and Harvey House and nephews Craig and Logan. Alonzo enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time outdoors with his family, whom he loved very much. Visitation will be held at the Holy Cross Anglican Church in Daniels Harbour on Wednesday July 19th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will also be held at the Holy Cross Anglican Church on Thursday July 20th at 2:00pm. with Canon Terry Rose officiating.
