The death occurred peacefully at the Maplewood Manor, Alberton on Tuesday July 18, 2017 with his loving family by his side of Francis J. Arsenault, Tignish aged 88 years. Husband of Irene (nee Gaudet) Arsenault. He was born in DeBlois on June 1, 1929, the son of the late Edward J. and Eva (Bernard) Arsenault. Lovingly remembered by children Darlene Arsenault (Paul Richard); Pamela Arsenault, Vincent (Lynn) Goguen; Tracy Bernard (Billy Perry) and Steven Gillis. Loving grandfather to Randall, Kendall, Danielle, Rochelle, Dexter, Taylor, Hillary, Valene, Spencer, Shelby and great grandfather to Sophie, Dominique, Sawyer, Madelynn, Abigail, Maci and Adriana. Dear brother to Bertha (Melvin) Buote; Howard Arsenault, Ada Arsenault (Leta Gallien) and Raymond Arsenault (Aurella Richard). He is also survived by special aunt Annie DesRoches. He was predeceased by parents Edward and Eva, brothers Ronnie, Bobby, nephew Gary and grand nephew Tanner. Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Road for visiting hours Thursday 6-9 p.m. Funeral will be held Friday July 21, 2017 at St. Simon & St. Jude Church, Tignish at 10:30 a.m. Celebrant, Rev.
