The death occurred peacefully at the Atlantic Baptist Nursing Home on July 23, 2017 of Ethel Pearl Bryenton, age 98 years. Beloved wife of the late Ivan Bryenton. Born in Brackley, P.E.I. on July 25, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Reginald and Bessie (Rodd) Bryenton. Ethel is survived by her children Robert (Florence) Bryenton, Betty (David) Reed and Lloyd (Marlene) Bryenton; grandchildren Geoff Bryenton, Jennifer Bryenton, Kim Colwell, Julie (Jeff) LeDrew, Amanda (Greg) Garner and Andrew (Ellie) Bryenton; seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brother Allison (Rena) Bryenton, sisters Hazel (Herman) Mosher and Doris (Keith) Cudmore. Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel with visiting hours on Thursday from 3 – 6 p.m. Funeral service to be held on Friday at 10:30 a.m. from Winsloe United Church. Interment in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Winsloe United Church Building Fund or the PEI Lung Association.
