At the Beach Grove Nursing Home, Charlottetown, the passing of William "Bill" F. Derby occurred on Tuesday, July 25, 2017. Born in White Sands, P.E., on December 8, 1930, he was a son of the late William and Margaretta (Brehaut) Derby. Bill is survived by his sister June Lund and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers Morris, Ralph and sister Dorothy Tamblyn, and also half brother and sisters Rebecca, James, Evelyn, Isabel, Miriam and Muriel. No visiting by request. A grave side service to take place on Saturday, July 29, 2017, in the Murray Harbour Cemetery at 10 a.m. Donations to the Murray Harbour Cemetery Fund would be appreciated. Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.
