YAKE, Alice Mae (Tattrie) - of Pictou, passed away July 25, 2017 in the Halifax Infirmary.
Born in Tatamagouche on January 29, 1961 she was a daughter of the late Gordon and Vilda (White) Tattrie.
Alice was a housewife and loved animals.
Surviving besides her husband, Webster; are daughters, Ann, Amherst; Susan (Chris), Winnipeg; brother, Frank (Ruth), Winnipeg; grandsons, Justin and Shawn, Pictou; nephew, Trevor, Saskatchewan; niece, Jennifer, New Glasgow; step-nephew, Nathan; and step-niece, Sarah, both of Winnipeg.
Alice was predeceased by her sister, Marlene; and uncle, Alonzo White.
The family would like to thank the hospital staff for taking care of Alice during her stay.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation at her request. A public graveside service will be held in Tatamagouche Cemetery, Friday, July 28th at 1PM.
Donations in her memory may be made to the Diabetes Association or the SPCA.
