The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by his family at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on July 28, 2017 of William “Bill” John Doyle of Ten Mile House, P.E., formerly of Dartmouth NS, aged 72 years. Survived by his loving wife of 52 years and best friend, Teresa (nee McQuaid); by his son, Troy (Yoko), his daughter, Leanne (Mark); his granddaughter, Madison; brothers, James of Sackville NS and Michael (Sheila) of Calgary, AB; sisters, Nancy (Sid Way) of Porters Lake, and Rita, (Owen LaPierre) of Dartmouth, N.S. Also survived by his uncle Colin Smith (Roberta) and Aunts, Stella Campbell and Helane Tait, all of Dartmouth, N.S.; brothers-in-law, Joseph (Catherine) McQuaid, John McQuaid, and sister-in-law, Diane (Roger) Doiron; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Michael and Beulah Doyle; his father and mother-in-law, Bernard and Ethel McQuaid; his niece, Wanda Young; and by his brothers and sister-in-law, Earl, Patrick, Maurice and Avril McQuaid. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Avenue, Stratford, for visitation on Monday, July 31, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass to be celebrated on Tuesday, August 01, 2017, at St. Bonaventure’s Roman Catholic Church, 1295 Donaldston Road, Tracadie Cross, at 10 a.m. Interment to be held in the parish cemetery at a later date.
