It is with great sadness that the family of the late Stephen Reginald Bailey announce his passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at the age of 71 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his children: Laurie Danks (Craig) and Linda Blanchard (Scott); grandchildren: Nicholas and Spencer Danks, Joshua and Jordan Blanchard; step-grandchildren: Caitlyn Costa (Rui) and their children Bella and Shiloh Costa, Mandy Park (Robert) and their children Braydon and Paige Park; brothers: Eldon, George, Norman (Vicki), Garry (Kathy) and Leslie; sisters: Gertie Darrigan, Clara Poole and Daisy Bailey, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and dear friends. He was predeceased by his parents Eliol and Mary Bailey; sisters: Eloise, Julia Pike (George) and Margaret Kelly (Gordon); sisters-in-law: Ada and Grace; brothers-in-law: Bert and Lawrence. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place at Country Haven Funeral Chapel on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Jocelyn Cook officiating. Interment will follow at the Holy Trinity Anglican Cemetery in Meadows. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
