BARBARA ANNE CORBETT (MACMULLIN)

It is with great sadness that we the family announce the death of Barbara Anne Corbett (MacMullin) on July 17, 2017, after a short illness.
Barb was born in Sydney and was the daughter of the late Kay and Joe MacMullin.
Barb was married to Gerald “Jed” Corbett and has two wonderful children, Jason and Christina Corbett.
Barb is survived by her sister, Betty Burke; brothers, Wayne, Joey and Donnie MacMullin; sisters-in-law, Colleen MacPherson and Joan Corbett; brother-in-law, Melvin Corbett; very special niece, Lisa Burke Melanson and nephew, Danny Burke.
Besides her parents Barb was predeceased by her brother, Steve MacMullin; brothers-in-law, Ron, Pat and Jim Corbett and Paul Burke; sister-in-law, Percilla Wassel.
Barb in her younger years was employed at Canada Packers.
After the Birth of her children, she was a mother and homemaker. She also found time to collect money for the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Cancer and Diabetes Society. As well she volunteered at her children’s schools.
A celebration of Barb’s life will be held Thursday August 10, 2017 from 6-9 p.m. at Sydney Memorial Chapel.
