Passed away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, St. John's on Tuesday, August 8, 2017, Elizabeth Short of Clarenville, aged 95 years. Predeceased by her husband Arthur, daughter Karen and granddaughter Jill; son-in-laws Willis Penney and Hedley Pelley. Left with fond and loving memories are her daughters Betty Penney, Viola Pelley and Donna Andrews (David); son Eric (Marty); son-in-law Dave Blundon; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a number of great-great grandchildren; sister Daisy Sutton; brother William Wiseman (Geraldine); and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Fewer's Funeral Home, Clarenville on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday at St. Mary's Anglican Church, Clarenville with interment at the Anglican Cemetery, Gin Cove.
