Gerald Herbert Aylward
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Gerald Herbert Aylward, age 82, of Pointe Du Chene, NB, and formerly of Springhill, NS. Gerald passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges L. DuMont Hospital, Moncton on Saturday, August 5, 2017 with family by his side.
Born in Springhill, NS, he was a son of the late Herbert and Lillian (Davis) Aylward.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Donna Delaney Aylward, Pointe Du Chene, NB; sons Rick, Dartmouth, NS, Robert (Jennifer), Springhill; daughter Geraldine (Malcolm) Cushing, Yarmouth NS; step son Robert (Paula) Fuller, Riverview, NB; step daughters Angela (Robert) Livingstone, Paula (Robert) Wilson, both of Riverview, NB; 10 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren.
He was predeceased by daughter Cathy Lynne Aylward; step brothers Ivan, Edward and Leonard McCormack.
Arrangements are under the care and guidance of A H Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane St., Springhill, NS (902-597-2361) where cremation has taken place. A graveside service will take place in Hillside Cemetery, Springhill at a later date.
