Evelyn ‘Evie’ (Clements) Turner

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Evelyn (Clements) Turner, age 66, at her residence in Glace Bay on Sunday, August 6, 2017.
Evie was the daughter of the late James and Mildred (Jewells) Clements. She was a very compassionate lady who loved children.
Evie is survived by her sister, June Milley (Terry), Saint John, NB; daughter, Jeannine Clements, Sydney; her niece, Madison Milley; nephew, Jarryd Milley; great nephew, Zander Milley, all in Saint John, NB, whom she loved dearly and had a special place in her heart for them. Evie is also survived by her partner, David Byrne, Glace Bay.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 13 from 2-4, 7-9 p.m. in V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, 16 Reserve St., Glace Bay. The funeral service, officiated by Rev. Myrna MacMullin is Monday at 2 p.m. in St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Glace Bay followed by a reception. Cremation will take place after the funeral service.
Donations in Evie’s memory may be made to the Diabetic Association.
