Tony Muise

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph Anthony 'Tony' Muise, 63, of Mount William, on August 17, 2017, in Palliative Care at the Aberdeen Hospital, after a brief but courageous battle with Cancer.
Born February 26, 1954 in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, Tony was the son of the late Kathleen (Kelly) and Joseph Muise.
On August 25, 1979, Tony married the love of his life, Mary Anne (MacEachern) and thereafter spent his days making memories with his best friend by his side.
As a long time employee of Trenton Works, Tony was a hardworking, dependable man who was always ready and willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Tony enjoyed playing golf, took an interest in learning Gaelic, was a past member of the gun club, loved his Louis L'Amour books and old western movies. Most of all, Tony loved to have a laugh with his friends and family, especially with his wife, daughter and three grandsons, affectionately referred to as Hank, Frank and Tank.
In addition to his parents, Tony was predeceased by his infant brother, Michael Muise; father-in-law Alexander MacEachern; niece, Lesley (Beaton) Roddick and mother-in-law Ada (Leil) MacEachern.
Tony is survived and will be sorely missed by his wife and best friend, Mary Anne (MacEachern) Muise, Mount William; daughter Angela (Nicholas) Buck, Quispamsis, New Brunswick; grandsons Brandon, Khai and Malachy Buck; sister Brenda (Joey) Beaton, Granton; a brother Michael (Johanna) Muise, Pictou Landing; brothers-in-law Alexander MacEachern (Ethel), New Glasgow; John MacEachern, Antigonish; sisters-in-law Kathleen (Jim) MacDonald, Ottawa, Ontario; Shirley (Dale) Goz, Nobleton, Ontario; numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place.
The family will receive visitors at the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow on Sunday, August 20, 2017 from 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2pm Monday August 21, 2017 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Father Barrett Clare-Johnson as celebrant.
Burial will take place at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Cemetery.
The family wishes to extend their thanks to Dr. Rivera, the VON nurses, the nursing staff and Dr. Kwasnik of the Palliative Care Unit, Aberdeen Hospital and to the many family members and friends who supported Tony and his family during his brief illness.
Donations in Tony's memory may be made to the VON, Palliative Care Unit at the Aberdeen or a charity of your choice.
