The death occurred with family by his side on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at Souris Hospital of Daniel A. Gallant, of Rollo Bay, formerly of St. Charles, age 61 years. Father of James Blackett. Survived by sisters Shirley Gallant, Marie Paquet, Vera Gallant, Gladys (Wilfred) King, Rita Manning, Martha (Donnie) Flynn, Edna MacDonald, and aunt Bertha May Leblanc. Predeceased by parents Frank and Marguerite Gallant; sisters Carol MacDonald, Frances Gallant, infant twins Helen and Ellen; grand nephew Dylan MacDonald, and brothers-in-law Everett Gallant, Joseph Manning, Henry Paquet, and Eldon MacDonald. Resting at Dingwell Funeral Home for private visiting hours with family only from 6-9 p.m. Public funeral to be held on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at St. Charles Roman Catholic Church for funeral mass to be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment in St. Charles cemetery immediately following the funeral mass.Memorial donations to St. Charles cemetery fund in memory of Daniel would be appreciated. www.dingwellfh.ca
