Unexpectedly at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Monday, August 21, 2017, the passing of Boyd Walter Shaw, age 60 of New Perth,beloved husband of Gloria (Collings) Shaw occurred. Born in Montague, he was the son of the late Donald and Hannah (Crane) Shaw. Boyd is survived by his loving children, Tracy MacKinnon (Robert), Laura Shaw (Keith Gunn), Scott Shaw (Wendy Bailey); cherished grandchildren, Ethan, Blake MacKinnon, Noah Shaw, Allie Bailey; brother Blair (Sherrell) Shaw, Eileen (Joe) MacIntyre, Dorothy (Leslie) Drake; several aunts; 1 uncle; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son Steven Shaw and a sister Jean Shaw. Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with visiting on Thursday, August 24, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service to take place in the Ferguson Logan Chapel on Friday, August 25 at 11 a.m. Interment to take place in the Lorne Valley Cemetery. Donations to the Kings County Memorial Hospital or a Charity of choice would be appreciated.
