Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear Long Term Care Facility on Wednesday, August 23, 2017, John J. Rowe of Carbonear, age 83 years. Predeceased by his first wife Lillian; second wife Joselyn; son David; grandson Stephen; granddaughter Melissa; brother: Wesley; sisters Phyllis, Dorothy and Rosalie. Leaving to mourn, two daughters Ruth (Clarence) Howell, London, ON and Rosalie (Brian) Peddle, London, England; three sons Wesley (Elsie), Carbonear, Perry, Ottawa, ON, and Tony (Susan), Broad Cove; 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; four step-daughters Hilda (Barry) Reilly and Judy (Brian) Clarke, both of Stanley, NB, Flora (Bob) Arsenault, Minto, NB, and Jennifer (Byron) Moores, Victoria; one step-son: Neil (Bev) Butt, Salmon Cove.
