It is with great sadness that the family of the late Wilfred Sinnicks of Hawkes Bay announces his passing on Sunday, August 27, 2017 at Rufus Guinchard Health Centre in Port Saunders at the age of 68 years. He leaves to mourn sisters Annie Sinnicks (Algie Perry), and Marina (Garland) Applin; brothers Samuel (Ethel), and Jim (Phyllis); nieces Margaret, Semonne, Hazareth, Rhona, Shannon, Renee, and special niece Hailey; nephews Lawrence, Victor, Peter, Ryan and special nephew Ivan; special friend Nelson Plowman, and a large circle of great nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was predeceased by father Victor Sinnicks, mother Peremella Coombs, stepfather Adam Coombs, sisters Hazel Hughes, Daisy Perry, Roxanne Coombs, and Victoria Sinnicks, brother Guy, nephews Lanny Sinnicks and Owen House. Friends visited at Holy Innocents Anglican Church in Hawkes Bay on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm followed by a family service at 7 p.m. The funeral service was held on Tuesday, August 28 at 11:00 a.m. As per his wish, cremation followed at Fillatre's Crematorium in Pasadena and interment will be announced at a later date.
