It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of William (Bill) Farrell, age 71 years, in Holyrood on Tuesday, August 29, 2017. Left with fond and loving memories are his four children: Joanne (Gerard), John, Lisa (Derek) and Christine (Steve), their mother Barb Farrell, and special friend Joan Murray. Bill will be dearly missed by his eight grandchildren: Evan and Ava Buckle, Karlee and Jenna Farrell, Hannah and Gracie Ward and Ethan and Jayden Lavoie. Also leaving to mourn and celebrating his life are his sisters and brothers: Mary Elizabeth Farrell, Lorraine Miskell (Pete), Kenneth (Meldy), Roy (Sharon), Geraldine Farrell (Gary) and Gerard (Jocelyn). Bill will also be missed by a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family, great neighbours and friends. Previously deceased by his brother Johnny (1950) and his parents: John and Josephine (Lewis) Farrell (2004 and 2005) and son-in-law Jack Buckle (2011). Resting at Dunphy's Funeral Home, Holyrood. Visitation will take place on Thursday and Friday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 10:30 am from Holy Cross Church, Holyrood.
