1924-2017
At the Garden Home Charlottetown, on Friday September 1, 2017 with her loving family by her side of Marie Catherine LeClair, beloved wife of the late Arthur J. LeClair formerly of Tignish age 93 years. Born at Tignish on September 8, 1924 she was the daughter of the late Robert M. and Fidlas M (nee Gaudet) Gallant. Lovingly remembered by her children, Roberta (Sonny) Blacquiere of Cornwall; Elaine Stordy of Charlottetown; Susan (Rick) Casford of Charlottetown; Ronnie (Helen) of Charlottetown; Linda LeClair (Dave Warren) of Charlottetown; Mae (Jerry Vloet of Charlottetown; Angela LeClair of Moncton; Floyd of Charlottetown; Cheryl LeClair of Charlottetown. She is also survived by a sister in Law, Joyce Gallant of Nail Pond. She will be sadly missed by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter Rachael Borland and by siblings, Urban Gallant, Hector Gallant, Viola Perry, Eva Perry and by half brothers, William Gallant, Joseph Gallant and Medric Gallant. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home & Chapel Alberton, Visiting hours Monday September,4th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral Tuesday morning from St. Simon and St. Jude Church Tignish, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Rev. Brendon Gallant, celebrant. Interment in the parish cemetery.
