Passed peacefully away at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville, surrounded by her loving family, Bessie Bailey of Harcourt, aged 96 years. Last surviving member of her immediate family. Predeceased by her husband David Bailey Sr.; grandson Kevin Bailey and parents Gertie and George Ivany. Left with fond and loving memories are her daughters Maxine (Boyd Vincent), Truro, NS and Laverne (Austin Pelley), Harcourt; son David (Netta), Harcourt; grandchildren Rob, Shelley, Greg, David, Sheri, Joanne and Tammy; great grandchildren Colby, Callie, Nathaniel, Christopher, Meaghan, Chris, Evan, Nathan, Natasha and Robyn; great great grandson Odyn; and a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. She was a second mother to Cavelle, Kathleen, Eleanor, Alvin, Calvin, Tina, Debbie, Linda, Daphne, and Ivan. Rested at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Clarenville. Funeral service took place on Monday, September 4, 2017 at Bethany United Church, Harcourt with interment at the United Cemetery, Harcourt.
