Born in Summerside on April 23, 1931 son of the late Everett and Marguerite (Auld) Schurman. Husband of Jean (MacLeod) Schurman. Father of Douglas ( Linda), Gordon (Judy) and Garth Schurman. Grandfather to Karen O’Malley, Darren Schurman, and Megan Gill (Jacob Dunlop). Great-grandfather to Dylan Schurman, Caleb Schurman and Aodhfin O’Malley. Brother-in-law of Ian (Dorothy) MacLeod. Uncle of Evelyn MacLeod and Miriam (Robert) Martin. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington for visitation on Thursday from 6- 9 p.m. Funeral Friday in the Freetown United Church at 10: 30 a.m. Interment in Freetown People’s Cemetery.
