DURHAM – Wilma Christine MacNeil, 58, Durham, passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2017 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. surrounded by her loving family.
Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late William and Laura (MacDonald) Robertson. Wilma enjoyed spending time with her friends and family but was especially proud of her grandchildren who she adored.
Surviving are her husband, Ron; children, Angela (Kevin) Hawkes, Loch Broom; Lloyd (Fhey) MacNeil, Pictou; Ronda (Edison) Stewart, New Glasgow; grandchildren, Jaden, Kohen, and Kalaye; sister; Donna (George) White, Trenton; brothers, Edwin (Judy), Westville; Lorrie, Cornwall, Ont; numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive visitors 1-1:50 p.m. Friday in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow from where funeral service will be held 2 p.m. in the chapel with Rev. Gail Johnson-Murdock officiating.
Donations may be made in Wilma’s memory to Aberdeen Health Foundation Palliative Care Unit Endowment.
