We regret to announce the sudden passing of Jimmy Pentecost on Wednesday, September 6, 2017, at the age of 67.
Born in Sydney Mines on February 20, 1949, Jimmy was the son of the late John and Margaret (MacGuigan) Pentecost.
He was a member of Holy Family Parish in Sydney Mines.
Jimmy is survived by his wife, Nina (Turner); sisters, Theresa Knee, Florence Power, and Rose MacAulay; brother, Stephen; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Jimmy was predeceased by his brothers, Arthur, John and David, and sisters, Christine Williams and Bernadette Chapman.
Jimmy was a private man, and to honour his wishes, there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place, and a funeral mass to celebrate his life will be held at a later date.
