VERNA LEWIS

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Verna Lewis on September 6, 2017 after a long battle with Lupus.
She is survived by her loving husband, Archie; son, William “Billy” Lute; his daughters, Billie Lynn and Ronnie; daughters, Shiela (Trevor) Gaslard, her children, Gabriel and Samantha, Anna Lute (Jason); her sons, Johnathon, Christopher and Logan Lute. She is also survived by a brother, David (Carla) Reid; sister, Maureen (Paul) Goode. She will be deeply missed by everyone in her SOS family who all knew her to be such an amazing women who touched all of their lives and brought so many people together. Verna was predeceased by grandparents, Vernon and Hannah Murphy; mother, Sheila Murphy; nephew, Matthew Goode.
Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. immediately followed by a memorial service Sunday, September 10, 2017 in Dartmouth Funeral Home, 29 Queen St., Dartmouth.
