1924-2011 - The death of Philip Stanley White, of Wicklow, occurred on April 16, 2011 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton. Born on July 4, 1924, he was the son of the late Stanley and Emma (Crane) White. Philip is survived by his brother Dr. Lee White (Rita); nieces and nephews, Donald and Robert White, Ronald and Les MacIntosh, Leslie Van Dover, Ellen and Vivian White, Ward White, John White, and Dr. Joe White. He was predeceased by his parents and his siblings, Leslie, Howard, Marion, Helen, and Winnifred.
Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol, on Wednesday, April 20th, 2011 from 12:00 noon to 2:00pm with a funeral service following at 2:00 pm in the L. R. Giberson Funeral Chapel. Rev. Michael Fredericks will be officiating. For those who wish, donations made to the Canadian Red Cross or donor’s choice would be appreciated. The family extends sincere gratitude to the home care staff of the Canadian Red Cross whose care enabled Philip to remain in his home as he so dearly wished. The family also express their gratitude to the nursing and medical staff of the DECH, 4NE, for their compassionate and respectful care of Philip in his final days.
