It is with great sadness the family shares the sudden passing of our beloved Allison Smith. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are Allison's loving parents Tim and Collette Smith. Brothers Matthew and Jordan; Grandparents John & Mary Power; Ches & Donna Smith. Gary & Vicki, Jennifer, Ryan Power; Paul Power; Sharon Power, Samantha Kao; Joanne Walsh, Devin Swann; Jeannie & Max Harding; Tammy Smith; Todd Smith & Colleen Connelly, Kristen, Chelsea, Juianna Smith; Trevor & Jennifer, Sarah, Ryan Smith; Trent Smith and Jackie Cullimore, Shannon Pike. Predeceased by Nan & Pop Marsh; Sharon Smith; Jonathan White; Wally Swann. A true free spirit, Allison had a true love for the earth, all animals and spirituality found in nature. Allison was the type of gentle soul who would lead a spider to the door rather than, as she put it, "take its life." Allison had a special way to connect with people through her warm personality, gentle smile and unique sense of humour. She could be quiet in a crowd - but the life of the party with her friends or family. An old soul, she loved reading the classics, watching quirky movies and finding ways to connect to nature. She touched many lives, probably more than she ever realized. Allison was a true joy to her family and wide group of friends. She had a heart of gold that she loved to let shine. Allison will be deeply missed by many and she will be forever loved. A heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped and supported us in so many ways. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to the Clarenville SPCA in honour of Allison. Everyone is invited to join us in honouring Allison at Fewer's Funeral Home (299 Memorial Drive) in Clarenville on September 10 from 6-9 pm and September 11 from 2-6 pm. We would like to invite young people to come anytime - but a special time is set aside at 6pm on September 11 for you to celebrate Allison. A ceremony will be held at 2 pm on September 12 at the Memorial United Church (Marine Drive) in Clarenville.
